Ed’s personal collection contains over 3000 comic books, 50 of which are graded. He mostly focuses on vintage Spider Man and first appearances from the 1940’s. His most prized comics include:

Walt Disney Comics & Stories 1: The most popular comic title throughout the 1940’s and 1960’s with upwards of 3 million copies distributed each month. This one in nice condition is worth about $10,000
Archie Comics 1: This is a pure comic Americana. Plus, it’s one of the few comics that you can still buy at a grocery store today. Early issues from 1940’s are pretty scarce. This copy, even in rough shape, is worth over $10,000.
Showcase 4: As superhero and other adult oriented comics hit a wall due to censorship and changing tastes, post World War II; DC comics re-imagined their superhero lineup starting with this book in 1956. Decent copies like this are worth nearly $20,000.
